How to do SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Well, you have an excellent website designed and full of rich content. But it looks like no one is visiting your site. There are many free forums in cyberspace, but be sure to register only in the forums related to your website. Readers or viewers are potential visitors to your site. After they see your signature and are interested in your links, traffic is born. This strategy attracts visitors to your site and, at the same time, adds related sites to related forums, with links to your site. But as always a good reminder, carefully read the terms, rules and regulations of the forum you intend to register to avoid being blacklisted and being considered a spammer. Also, don’t forget to stay active in the forum you choose, as some forums automatically exclude members who have been inactive for a certain period of time.
- Exchange links : Link exchange is one of the most efficient techniques to increase your page rank, but it may not be as effective in increasing your traffic, unless you exchange a link with a high traffic website. There are many free reciprocal link scripts that you can download and install in your website. You can add a page called “links” to your website to accommodate reciprocal linking activities. But don’t forget to exchange the link only for sites related to your site. And set your link manager to accept links manually and not automatically. This is to ensure that you are only exchanging links with individuals and not with automated software and robots. Link exchange increases your return links and increases your search positions in the search engines.
- Search Engine and Directories. This is the first thing you must do when running your website. Some hosting company offers free shipping to basic search engines and directories, such as Google, Yahoo, Lycos, Msn, etc. When you submit your page to search engines, the chance for your site to be included in search engine results begins. However, this does not mean that if your domain name is computeprofit.com it is sent to these search engines, it will also be shown first in the search engine results for the keyword “computed profit”. Content is king, as many agree. Even if you have a lot of visitors coming from links back to your website, you should also ensure that those visitors find excellent and informative content on your website that will make them return and become regular visitors. A bad website with many visitors does not guarantee a great potential for marketing profit, as it can be immediately closed and discarded by the first time visitors, instead of thinking about exploiting it. These sites are visited by millions and their active participation makes a great exposure of their sites. Present your website and promote it here to attract many visitors to your precious website or blog.
